Data You Give Us Directly
Information entered into a name, phone, or address search is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Beaumont Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those search entries on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond or handle the request.
Data Collected Automatically
Hosting systems may record ordinary technical logs, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and time stamps. We review aggregate patterns to maintain the service and understand which Beaumont reference pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or, where enabled, advertising measurement.
How the Information Is Used
Technical information helps operate the pages, find faults, measure traffic, and improve the reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual profiles from ordinary page use. Messages are used for the purpose for which they were sent.
Links to External Resources
Pages link to Riverside County portals, Beaumont departments, California agencies, courts, libraries, archives, and third-party search tools, including the Beaumont Library local-history route. Once a link is opened, the destination's own privacy policy and data practices apply. The same is true of sponsored search results.
Who May Process Information
Hosting and technical service providers may handle server logs while supporting the pages. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the limited automatic data described above. Information may be disclosed when a valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is handled for ordinary service operation.
Security Measures
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no Beaumont Residents Directory accounts, passwords, or user profiles stored by the reference pages.
Visitors Under 18
The reference service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor sent information, contact us so the material can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
Your California Privacy Rights
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act apply, Civil Code section 1798.100 and following may provide rights to know or access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing, subject to statutory limits and exemptions. Requests concerning information held by this service can be made through the Contact page. Because the service keeps little, a response may involve checking a mailbox and limited server logs.
The California Public Records Act, Government Code section 7920.000 and following, governs records held by state, county, and city custodians. Public deeds, court files, voter records, vital records, and Beaumont or Riverside government files are outside our control. Requests to remove or correct those records belong with the office that holds the record. California's DROP platform can send a deletion request to registered data brokers, but it does not erase originating government records.
For suspected misuse by a business, the California Attorney General consumer complaint route is separate from a county-record correction. Suspected fraud can be reported through the FTC fraud-reporting service or IdentityTheft.gov. Those channels address provider conduct and identity theft; they do not turn this reference site into a records custodian.
Changes to This Policy
When the information practices or legal requirements change, an updated policy will be posted here. Continued use after a new version is posted indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
